**About Second City Works**: As the corporate arm of the world-renowned Second City comedy theatre, we are a leader in bringing the power of improvisation and laughter to businesses worldwide. We serve over 600 clients each year and we specialize in custom designed workshops, training programs, event entertainment, and video productions that that foster creativity, collaboration, and out-of-the-box thinking.

**About this Role**: The newest member of our Learning & Development delivery team, the Visual Improviser is a real-time illustrators who captures key learning objectives, action items, and other memorable moments in real-time illustrations. Ideally a trained improviser, they will use their strong listening and comprehension skills to identify and prioritize important information, then synthsize it into concise, visually captivating images. Workshop participants who are visual learners are more apt to retain the information being shared when they are able to watch our Visual Improviser in action, so their digital creations may be projected onto a screen, or they will work at the front of the room on a large canvas.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Improv Experience, including training
- Exceptional listening, comprehension, and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and engaging illustrations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in various software programs, including Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with digital illustration tools or techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.
- Adhere to all relevant information provided by the Lead/Designer, Production Manager, and/or Stage Manager regarding call times, etc.
- Ability to travel locally, nationally, and potentially internationally
