You'll be responsible for troubleshooting any level of mechanical and electrical issues, assembling new machinery equipment, providing training for new hires, meeting deadlines, and performing work in a professional manner. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Mechanical Assembly of new equipment
- Test manufactured equipment to ensure it meets customer requirements
- Perform quality checks on equipment being manufactured
- Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying a supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues that may arise on the equipment due to shipping/other factors
- Troubleshoot noncompatible parts and send them back for engineering change
- Run wires for motors, sensors, and other devices to the control panel
- Hook up pneumatic devices and run air lines through the machine
- Clean and prepare machines for shipping
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures
- Ensure all equipment is delivered to the highest level of quality
- Assist in uninstalling and crating machines
- Provide guidance and training for new apprentices
- Assisting other Assemblers if needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge and experience with sensors, switches, servo motors, and pneumatic components
- Knowledge of AC/DC gear motors, Contactors, Heaters, safety switches
- Must have experience in machine rigging
- Able to read mechanical drawings
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience assembling machines

**Education**:

- High School or College diploma in the related fields

**Interpersonal skills**:

- Ability to read directions, job orders, blueprints, and specifications
- Passion for prototyping and machine building
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to solve problems in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Have great communication skills (Verbal and Written)

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
