**Primary Objective of the Position**:
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
- To operate large fuel trucks in close-fitting areas.
- To fuel various aircraft, equipment, as well as ground service equipment.
- Checking, testing, accepting fuel at the Tank Farm, as well as completing various mandatory regulated duties related to the operation of the Tank Farm.
- Report any abnormalities in equipment or equipment performance.
- Stay fluent on any new equipment or procedures.
- Obey and operate according to all airport procedures.
- To operate any/all equipment for the duration of operation.
- Responsible for any/all equipment. (Condition, fuel, performance).
- Stay up to date on any equipment upgrades, changes, performance, and policies.
- Perform other duties as required including and not limited to basic cleaning and maintenance related to fuel operation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs overhead.
- Ensure fuel records and tickets are completed, filed correctly and that applicable records are forwarded to lead hand or administrator on duty.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Currently holds a valid RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance).
- Maintain valid AVOP.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence or equivalent.
- Mandatory Operator training completed.
- Excellent driving skills.
- Ability to drive in all weather conditions.
- Basic reading and writing skills High School Graduate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent punctuality, and attendance habits.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast changing customer requirements.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and/or independently.
- Willingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible to work shift work, weekends and stat holidays.
- Be willing to work outside.
