Island Yacht Club is now hiring **60-ton Licensed Captains** for the 2023 season. If you love being out on the water and working with people, this is the job for you.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- **Valid Transport Canada Captains' License (60-ton ticket) a must.**
- **Valid Marine Basic First Aid CPR/AED Level C**
- **Valid Marine Basic - Transport Canada**
- **Valid Marine Physical**

**Essential Functions**:

- Ensure safe boarding and disembarking of passengers
- Log departure time, passenger counts, and any unusual occurrences
- Follow safety procedures to ensure the protection of passengers and vessel
- Handle lines to moor vessels to the dock
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas
- Sweep, mop, and wash down decks and exterior to remove dirt, and debris
- Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards
- Positive attitude
- Experience dealing with the general public
- Provide exceptional hospitality to members and guests

**Add-ons**:
Complimentary meals are provided during work shifts

Full and Part-time hours available: 25- 40 hours per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent

**Salary**: Range of $23.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience
