**_Job Purpose_**

The Beauty Advisor Supervisor is responsible for setting and maintaining our standard of customer service as well as guiding and mentoring customer service staff members. It is their duty to create a clear communication connection between the management and customer service staff. They are also responsible for setting an example on offering superb shopping experience for customers by utilizing their knowledge and skills, and also responsible for suggesting products, techniques and regimes in maintaining hair extensions, natural hair, skincare, and cosmetics. By staying up to date with the latest beauty trends, the Beauty Advisor Supervisor will lead customer service staff on how to better serve customers’ needs as well as pushing sales.

Responsibilities_**

**Store Operations**
- Optimize store sales and increase profitability by monitoring and communicating with Inventory Specialist for low stock or popular items
- Monitor sales floor for loss prevention issues and report to the management asap
- Assign proper coverage and monitor in-store activities, for efficient sales flow in high traffic areas (eg. check out, wig room, stockroom and sales floor)
- Be proactive and help monitor in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Tour the sales floors regularly and assist with high quality merchandising
- Monitor departmental daily tasks and duties schedules, cleaning schedules, and break time schedules. Give feedback to Managers on the daily operation of these schedules.
- Daily cashier duties, maintaining a clean and organized cash area.
- Mandatory Keyholder position.
- Thoroughly understand store policies and procedures

**Staff Relations**
- Provide leadership and manage customer service staff through training, motivation and coaching
- Provide new employee orientation to new Junior Beauty Advisors by following the New Employee Orientation Program.
- Create and manage a well rounded team work environment amongst staff
- Assist in Employee Relations with Management, to resolve employee issues and come to an agreeable solution by all
- Provide feedback to management about co-worker performance on a regular basis

**Customer Service**
- Maintain Cloré’s standard of courteous customer service and professionalism
- Developing rapport and loyalty with regular customers
- Keep up to date and communicate special promotions, displays and events to staff and customers (eg. Seasonal sales and in store promotions)

**Product Knowledge**
- Assisting customers through suggesting solutions to hair and beauty needs
- Keep up to date in latest hair and beauty trends, and share information with staff and customers
- Give feedback to staff and customers of personal experiences of product usage
- Submit product reviews as requested in a timely manner

This person reports directly to the** Retail Store** Manager**

Other key relationships are:

- Assistant Manager
- Retail Staff
- In store and online customers

**_
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions_**
- Working in a retail environment with high levels of traffic (customers and merchandise)
- Standing and walking for majority of shift
- Minimal amounts of carrying and lifting (boxes up to 20lbs)
- Climbing ladders occasionally to reach products on high shelves
- Irregular working hours, especially during busy seasons
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications_**
- Hairstyling, esthetics and cosmetology knowledge is an asset
- Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED/OSSD)
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required preferably in a Beauty Advisor environment
