Forklift Operator/order Picker

**Job description**
- Must be proficient in safe operation of various forklifts: indoor, outdoor - rough terrain.
- Forklift certification is a strong asset, as is years of proven experience.
- Carry out inspections of production equipment and powered mobile equipment.
- Stack pallets finished with product in preparation for shipping.
- Efficiently and safely load and unload flat deck and covered trailers.
- Mechanical aptitude and awareness is an asset.
- Staging material in priority sequence for work orders to minimize machine downtime.
- Inspect and perform basic quality control of finished product in order to adhere to specifications.
- Handle and move materials and supplies as required.
- General labor duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time throughout the day.
- Ensure quality is met throughout manufacturing processes.
- Must work well in a team environment - promoting an environment of collaboration and positivity.
- Adhere to all safety, manufacturing and quality processes and procedures.
- Multi-tasking and rotating to different tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean yard and work area, and ensure all equipment is kept clean and safe.

**Applicants must have the ability to commute to the facility ** This is MANDATORY.

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Day/ afternoon/ night shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- 3 years warehouse experience. (must have)
- 3 years of forklift experience. (must have)

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- Warehouse experience: 3 years (required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
