Telebyte Communications has an exciting job opportunity for a Cabling & Fiber Optics Technician based in Red Deer, Alberta.

Requirements for this position:

- Experince with installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of structured cable components. (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optic)
- Experience with installation and testing of communication circuits via available communications cabling network
- Read and interpret telecommunication drawings and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Attention to detail and can produce customer-specific documentation
- Manage a project on their own and see a project through to completion
- Team player and knowledge sharing
- Valid driver’s license to drive a company vehicle

Preferred Skills:

- TE Connectivity certification training
- Commscope Systimax certification training
- Belden certification training
- Corning certification training

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
