**Job Summary**

We are looking for highly energetic and responsible applicants for the position of part-time assistants who would be working with children in the age group of 3-15. A brand new Kumon center has opened recently, next to Royal Columbian Hospital.

**Job Type / Category**

This is a part-time position, on a permanent basis. Before applying, please ensure you are available on Mondays and Thursdays. There will be a probationary period, before hiring is considered permanent. You will perform in many areas of the center, multi-tasking and inquisitive people desired.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be reliable, have strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working with children.
- Must be proficient in Math and English (an assessment test will be required).
- Experience working with children or tutoring is a plus.
- MUST be available Mondays and Thursdays 3pm to 730pm.
- Being an ex-KUMON student or previous Kumon Assistant is a plus.
- If over 20, provide a Security Background Check upon successful hiring.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-10 per week

**Salary**: $15.65 per hour
