We are the OEM (Official Equipment Manufacturer) of the JOY line of AIR SLUSHERS, ELECTRIC SLUSHERS, SCRAPERS, SHEAVE BLOCKS and produce parts for the JOY line of HOISTS/TUGGERS/AIR AND ELECTRIC WINCHES.

Nelmaco rebuilds and supplies parts for all kinds of different models, including INGERSOLL RAND, SULLIVAN, GARDNER DENVER AND SLUSHER/HOISTS and TUGGERS/AIR WINCHES, in addition to our JOY line. Nelmaco also repairs, rents, maintains, modifies or designs equipment based on each customer’s specific needs and specifications. Some of the products we have worked with in the past include CRUSHERS, ROCK DRILLS, PUMPS, ELECTRIC AND AIR MOTORS, VENTILATION FANS, PORTABLE MINE TOILETS, WHEEL AXLE ASSEMBLIES, SHEAVE BLOCKS, SCRAPERS, TUGGER/WINCHES AND SLUSHER/HOISTS, BALL PROD MILLS, ASSAY LAB EQUIPMENT & MUCKING MACHINES.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including electrical systems, HVAC systems, and mechanical components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the root cause of problems
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
- Operate heavy equipment, such as cranes or forklifts, as needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory

**Skills**:

- Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery
- Experience with HVAC systems is preferred
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with dig procedures for underground utilities is desirable
- Previous experience working in a dealership or similar environment is advantageous
