As an Implementation Manager, you will ensure our clients' successful onboarding and implementation while playing a vital role in evolving internal best practices for your team and the entire organization. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute significantly to the success of our business and the mentorship of others. Your primary focus will be onboarding new clients and implementing solutions for our municipal operations management software, MESH.
**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Implementation Manager with experience in software implementation. As an Implementation Manager, you will help our valued partners successfully drive the adoption and utilization of our SaaS solution, MESH: an operations and asset management platform. Your primary responsibility will be facilitating a seamless onboarding process, coordinating and scheduling implementation deliverables, and leveraging your expertise in efficient data organization and stakeholder management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their unique needs, goals, and operational processes, translating them into clear implementation requirements and solutions within our product offering.
- Onboarding: Serve as the main point of contact for municipal clients during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive transition to our cloud and mobile-based platform.
- Strategic Planning: Proven expertise and success in providing clients with strategic guidance to help them achieve their short and long-term objectives.
- Training and User Support: Develop and enhance existing training materials, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular and proactive communication with clients, including various user types, project teams, and other stakeholders, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- System Configuration: Collaborate to configure our software according to client requirements and specifications, ensuring a tailored and optimized solution.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve onboarding and implementation processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Ability to identify and address any technical or operational issues that may arise during the implementation cycle, working cross-functionally with other teams to ensure prompt resolution.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to onboarding processes, implementation procedures, user guides, and best practices.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software implementation, preferably within municipal government or a related field.
- Data Management Skills: Strong proficiency in data management, including efficient spreadsheet organization, data validation, and hierarchical asset structures.
- Onboarding and Implementation: Demonstrated experience coordinating the onboarding and implementation of SaaS solutions, including requirements gathering, system configuration, training, and support.
- Project Coordination: Proven ability to effectively coordinate projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within defined timelines.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, understanding of database concepts, and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse user types at different levels of the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and address onboarding and implementation challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management, documentation, and process adherence.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, quickly adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
- Leadership: Confident leadership presence and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to achieve shared goals.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Municipal Government Experience: Experience working within municipal government operations, familiarity with local government processes, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by municipal organizations.
- SaaS Software Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS software solutions commonly used in organizations, such as financial management, HRIS, permit, licensing, and data visualization systems.
- Management Experience: Previous experience managing and mentoring individual contributors.
