We are expanding and recruiting for Housekeepers in our Home Support teams.

Our Housekeeping roles provide cleaning services to our senior clients who can live independently, in their own homes. You MUST take a genuine interest in our clients’ lives, providing care with dignity and respect, while ensuring that their environment is clean and safe.

**Responsibilities**
- Complete assigned work and provide services as directed in a cleaning/service plan, which may include, but are not limited to vacuuming/sweeping/washing floors, tiding bedrooms/changing beds, dusting common areas, garbage removal, washing dishes, cleaning countertops/cabinets, appliances, cleaning microwave, cleaning/organizing bathrooms, and common areas
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in all expected cleaning competencies and complete required documentation, within the allotted time frame
- Awareness of client’s rights and responsibilities
- Create and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, and other team members
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold quality standards, by working with an awareness of and improving health and safety
- Maintain current skill levels by attending in-services and additional training as required
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct

**Requirements**:

- Highschool graduation is considered an asset
- Ability to work with vulnerable older adults
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Reliable cell phone with data plan
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is considered an asset
- Satisfactory Police Check, including vulnerable population check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (as applicable)
- Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract (as applicable)

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize actions
- Take initiative and self-start
- Good oral and written communication skills - Multi-lingual is considered an asset
- Must be dependable, honest, and responsible to ensure consistent quality care
- Good observation skills
- Team player but still able to work independently
- Superior Performance - strive, meet, or exceed all performance measures for your role

**Additional Financial Benefits**
- Cell phone allowance of $20/month
- Reimbursement for mileage travelled between client homes

**Work Location Information**
- Client's homes across the city, with majority in NE and NW Calgary

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
