**Job Title: Patient Experience Coordinator/ Assistant**

Position Summary: Body 'n Balance Physio & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Experience Coordinator. As a Patient Experience Coordinator/Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every patient receives exceptional care and enjoys a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. This multifaceted role involves various administrative tasks, patient support, and assisting our physiotherapists in delivering outstanding treatment to our patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and check-in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Efficiently handle patient check-out process, which includes insurance submissions, payment collection and scheduling future appointments.
- Maintain organized patient records by accurately scanning and filing documents.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing helpful and timely information or directing calls appropriately.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of patient tables and rooms, creating a welcoming environment for patients.
- Manage laundry responsibilities to maintain a clean and sanitary clinic environment.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists to support patients during their sessions, including supervising patients during exercises, therapeutic modalities (heat/cold packs, ultrasound, TENS, etc.), and other treatment-related activities.
- Assist patients with transfers and mobility, including the use of assistive devices like crutches or walkers.
- Communicate regularly with the physiotherapist to report any changes or concerns regarding patients' conditions.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding while following our motto of treating everyone like family, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
- Exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude, fostering a harmonious team environment.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare-related role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks effectively.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and the willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
- A caring and compassionate nature, embodying our commitment to treating patients as cherished individuals.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and assisting with patient activities.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
