Experienced Roofer

Our team at Atlantic Roofers Ltd. is currently hiring experienced/Journeymen/women Roofers for our branch in the Dartmouth area starting immediately.

**Job Details**:

- Permanent Full time: Monday - Friday (some travel may be required, paid by the company
- Pay rate: starting at $29.59/hr, based on experience as defined in the NS Roofers Local 409 Collective Agreement
- Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Instruct apprentices, supervise fellow tradespersons in construction activities
- Install, replace or repair all types of roofing systems including, but not limited to, BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM and TPO systems
- Safely operate a variety of handheld tools such as cordless drills, grinders, cut off saws, etc.
- Understanding of safe work practices and job procedures
- Participate in safety toolbox meetings
- A knowledge of installation of metal flashings would be an asset, but not a requirement

**Other requirements for this role may include**:

- Minimum of 4+ years working in Commercial/Industrial Roofing
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work well in outdoor elements in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License would be considered an asset
- Some weekend flexibility may be required at times
- Knowledge in the safe use of fall protection equipment and PPE
