Laundry Labourer

Seeking highly motivated, productive, and reliable Laundry Labourer for full-time employment opportunities in a modern, efficiently run production facility.

Job Responsibilities:
Posting involves rotation between a variety of tasks includes but is not limited to the following:

- Operating Sorting Cart Dumper
- Controlling pace of Sorting Department
- Opening filled laundry bags returning from hospital sites
- Operating Cart Wash System
- Operating Plastic Bailer
- Sorting on production sort line

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:

- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent training and experience
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walking, crouching, lifting, and pushing
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and handle loads in cart
- Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical labour
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to understand instructions
- Strong Organizational skills
- Use of memory and desire to satisfy customer requirements are necessary attributes

Terms of Employment:

- Full-time position
- Wage range: $15.65 - $19 per hour
- Working conditions include some exposure to heat and noise, and the safe handling of chemicals
- Our operations run seven (7) days per week - weekends as well as overtime as required
- 40 Hour work week - 5:00am-3:30pm (4x 10hr shifts) or 6:00am -2:30pm (5x 8hr shifts)
- Benefits include: Medical and Extended Benefits after 3 months. Productivity bonuses when goals are achieved

**Salary**: $15.65-$19.00 per hour
