**Job description**

**Position Description**:
A RF Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading Hybrid fibre & coax systems which include power supplies, trunk amplifiers, nodes, passive equipment, cabling etc. They will provide technical support in testing and troubleshooting new and existing systems. Some additional duties are listed below:

- Perform, record, collect and organize all data and documentation.
- Installing and upgrading hybrid fibre/coax equipment.
- Live cutovers may be required in the maintenance window between 2 am and 6 am.
- Installing and upgrading power supplies and batteries.
- Locate and repair existing cable and underground utilities.
- Safe operation of company vehicle.
- Safe use of Ladders up to 32ft or personal lift devices including scissor lifts and bucket trucks.
- Other related tasks

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year RF technician or related experience would be an asset.
- Experience with aerial and underground infrastructure would be an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with working at heights would be an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
