Our 60+ Endocrinologists, many of whom are nationally renowned for their areas of expertise, are supported by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified Medical Office Administrators, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Opticians, Optical Assistants, Chiropodists and Clinical Research Professionals.

Currently, our growing team is looking for a **Chiropody Assistant** who can work for us on a** temporary full-time basis **(12 month leave coverage) supporting our **LMC Barrie clinic (370 Bayview Dr, Barrie ON)**.

**Responsibilities**
- Booking and confirming patient appointments by telephone.
- Conduct Lost to Follow-up calls with patients.
- Following up with patient inquiries to ensure they are receiving excellent care.
- Assist Chiropodist - includes cleaning the exam rooms and instruments, assisting with medical procedures, dressing changes, and patient education.
- Monitor and order Chiropody supplies.
- Project work, contributing to a library of resources such as templates, pamphlets and FAQs.
- Managing billing services.
- Promote Chiropody services to patients within LMC clinics.
- Other administrative duties, as required.

**Requirements**:

- University or college degree in health services preferred - Kinesiology degree an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Effectively able to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds by telephone.
- Medical terminology knowledge would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced MS Office computer skills.
