Bookkeeper

Full Time bookkeeper needed for a busy office in Montreal.

We are a small consultancy providing Finance and Accounting support and Reconciliation Services to a number of B2B and B2C brands in the digital space. These services mainly support customer payments at high volume.

**Job description of Bookkeeper**:

- Reconcile banks, credit cards and other accounts
- Using QuickBooks to issues estimates/invoices to our clients
- Ensuring payments are received and applied in a timely manner
- Prepare and process journal entries and record month end accruals
- Process bi-weekly Payroll and Government remittances including T4
- Assist with monthly financial statements and other management reporting
- Assist with audits for corporate and productions
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
- Prepare GST/QST returns
- Assist in Preparation of year-end packages for accountants, i.e., preparing a trial balance, adjusting entries, and reconciling accounts

**Key Competencies**:

- College education or Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Proficient using ADP, QuickBooks Desktop & Online, MS office, particularly in Excel is essential.
- Excellent attention to details
- 1-3 years of experience
- Extremely organized and task oriented
- Motivated to work independently and within a team environment
- Multi-tasking various projects

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
