**Position**:
- Rebarworker - Construction, Nunavut**Location and Reporting Structure**:

- fly out 6x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.***:
**Responsibilities**:
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to understand the layout and requirements for rebar installation;
- Produce high-quality reinforcement bars according to engineering specifications and project requirements;
- Utilize advanced fabrication techniques and equipment to produce precision-engineered reinforcement bars;
- Safely and accurately shape and install rebar and mesh in various structures, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards;
- Conduct inspections to identify and address any issues promptly;
- Manage and organize rebar materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and transportation to construction sites;
- Work closely with construction teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate rebar installation with other construction activities;
- Adhere to all B2Gold’s safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper handling of materials and equipment.
**Desired Competencies and Requirements**:
- Three (3) years’ experience as a Rebarworker in mining or oilfield building and construction, with preference given to those with experience working on a remote site with limited access to resources;
- Advanced proficiency in rebar fabrication techniques and equipment operation;
- Interprovincial Red Seal Rebarworker, Rodburster or Ironworker Certification required;
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
