**Position**:IMSA Gundrill Operator

**Reports to**:2D Production Leader

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Use Lemoine (version 7) software to develop toolpaths to machine various mold components
- Use Heidenhain controller to perform 3, 3+1, and occasionally 3+2 and 3+3 machining operations
- Use magnets, angle plates and FCS and other fixturing systems to create a stable working holding arrangement for workpiece
- Perform basic machine maintenance
- Run multiple machines as required
- Use available technology to allow for unattended operations when possible
- Contribute to "Lean Manufacturing" initiatives
- Reliable job completion skills
- Ability to maintain utilization and productivity on machines
- Follow all company health and safety policies
- Complete all required manufacturing checklists and follow manufacturing standard operating procedures

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Must be able to work Weekend Day Shift transitioning to a Continental Shift:

- Weekend Shift: 12hrs Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- There is a 20% per hour shift premium for days, plus a 4 hour top up.
- Continental Shift: Week 1: Work 48 hours (4 days of 12-hour shifts) = 40 Regular; 8 Overtime. Week 2: Work 36 hours (3 days of 12-hour shifts)
- There is a 20% per hour shift premium for days and a 30% shift premium for nights. Plus a 4 hour top up on weeks that you only work 36 hours
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, punctuality
- Demonstrated ability to act in a professional and accountable manner
- Ability to demonstrate self-motivation and collaboration
- Ability to adapt in an ever-changing technology driven environment

**Education & Experience**:

- 5+ years' experience performing gundrill or 2D operations on cores, cavities, plates and components.
