**Job Role**:
Guerrilla Consulting LTD is currently seeking a bench technician for our client’s high volume and fast paced electronics repair environment. Our goal is to provide a positive work environment that encourages growth and development to all employees.

The role of the bench technician is to inspect, clean, repair, and test the various electronics and mechanical functions of various pieces of electronic equipment. Equipment includes but not limited to: TVs, computers, printers, point of sale equipment, digital signs, network equipment, etc. Additionally, the bench technician is also responsible for documenting and reporting their work, faults found, parts used. Relevant work experience is a great asset but not required. Onsite paid training is provided

**Duties**:

- Create work tickets, enter information, and close work tickets in Service Max (electronic database)
- Create sales orders
- Inspect received equipment for billable damage and for the availability of replacement parts
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment
- Able to adapt to new equipment and procedures as equipment changes
- Clean exterior chassis of equipment
- Clean (and lubricate if necessary) mechanical components of equipment
- Clean electrical/electronic components of equipment
- Desolder and solder electronic components on printed circuit boards
- Load/edit firmware, software, and configuration settings of equipment
- Test equipment for functionality
- Long-term test questionable equipment
- Provide Technical Support to Field Service Technicians who call in
- Clean and maintain their personal workspace on a daily basis
- Clean and maintain the common areas of the Rework Shop on a weekly basis
- Other tasks as directed by the Rework Lead Hand or Rework Manager.

**Salary**: $19.50-$20.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed

- Abbotsford, BC V2S 7W5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Electronics Installation & Repair Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
