Atira Property Management Inc. offers quality property management services for strata corporations, developers, rental properties, non-profit housing, and housing cooperatives in Greater Vancouver. As one of the first mission-driven companies of its kind in Canada, Atira Property Management is a social enterprise that grew out of Atira Women's Resource Society. All profits from Atira Property Management are used to help fund the Society’s housing and support programs for women and children affected by violence, as well as to build new, nonmarket housing.

**The Opportunity**:
Atira Property Management Inc. currently has a vacancy for a Strata Manager with a small portfolio of excellently managed, long-time client properties available for the right person This position is perfect for someone wanting to get into the industry, supported by a great team of like-minded individuals who have a passion not only for the work, but the mission, vision and values of our parent organization, Atira Women’s Resource Society.

**About You**:
You have recently passed your Strata Management course at Sauder School of Business and are excited to begin your new career as a Licensed Strata Manager with an exciting, boutique Brokerage. Maybe you have some previous experience as a Property Management Assistant. You have a strong sense of community and are looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment. People would describe you as motivated, enthusiastic, friendly and with a positive attitude. You will promote and articulate the mission, vision and values of Atira Women’s Resource Society and create positive working relationships with all stakeholders necessary to achieve Atira’s objectives. As a well-organized and strong manager, your communication skills are impeccable and you are a skilled team player. You have demonstrated knowledge of building systems, customer relations, and the Strata Property Act & Regulations. You also have a demonstrated ability to:

- Deal effectively, respectfully and without judgment, with Owner & Council concerns/complaints
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety and security of the premises through regular inspection
- Develop appropriate maintenance and repair schedules
- Maintain the necessary Owner records
- Process Form and other document requests from Owners, Notaries, Realtor's and Lawyers
- Work well with minimum supervision; and
- Be flexible to take on other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Broker.

**Additional Requisites**:

- COVID 19 and Flu Vaccinations are required, except with validated exemptions.
- A valid First Aid certificate is required.
- Successful completion of the Strata Property Management licensing program is required.
- Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office products, is required.
- Experience with YARDI is an asset.
