Victoria, Canada Dean's Dairy at your Door Ltd. Full time

Established agent distributor for local legend, Island Farms, is seeking modern Milkman or Milk-person. Position starts as part-time and becomes permanent full-time work as of June 1/23. Start 3:30-4:30am and end early to get'er done and still have the rest of your afternoon for yourself. Mon-Fri morning to early afternoon shifts so **no weekends or evenings.** Training will be provided. Driver's Abstract and References will be requested for those interviewed.

Job responsibilities:

- **Deliver dairy products with** **exceptional customer service** by delivering orders safely, accurately and on time
- Provide customers with a timely and positive delivery experience to build and maintain customer relationships
- Maintain high food safety standards, i.e. product handling, truck conditions, records
- Responsible and safe operation of 30' step van
- Accurate and efficient use of invoicing and other equipment

Position requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year experience operating 1 tonne or larger delivery vehicle safely
- Valid and clean Class 5 BC driver's licence
- High school graduate or higher
- Able to lift and carry minimum 50 lbs
- Inventory management
- Adhere to HACCP plan
- Prefer customer service or retail experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills in fulfilling client orders
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Work with energy to meet time commitments and work safely

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
