**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Programming and Events Supervisor, the Recreation Management System Coordinator is a specialist in the Recreation Management Software (Xplor Recreation) system for the City of Grande Prairie and the direct supervisor of the Facility Bookings Team. Working in this position, you will ensure system functionality, provide training and support for users, and implement the future direction of the system's use in recreation, while managing the daily operations of the booking staff. You will collaborate with team members and other related internal City departments/staff to provide a top-notch user experience through best practices, user training, uniform processes, troubleshooting, problem solving, maintaining data integrity, and needs assessment. You will perform standardized reporting, tracking, monitoring, and statistical compilation to assist with ensuring the accuracy of financial components of the system as well as to provide information required for departments' key performance indicators and business growth initiatives.
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-based individual with a successful track record in streamlining implementing process.

Responsibilities*
In this role, you will work to complete the following:

- Lead, manage and plan the work within the Recreation Software.
- Develop and promote a positive organizational culture while leading staff to focus on the bookings process and delivering exceptional customer service
- Recruit, performance manage, and develop staff according to organizational policies
- As system updates occur, you communicate to impacted users with information on what is new, the impact to processes, applicable -training required, and roll out guidelines
- Monitor, report, identify, and correct data discrepancies to maintain data integrity
- Review financial data and regularly monitor transactions for accuracy and alignment with accounting principles
- Provide clear, concise reports used for financial forecasts, budgeting, and business growth decision
- Problem solve and address user concerns, system and booking inquiries
- Maintain system user access and setting security levels
- Maintain the system web presence giving online customers an experience that is user-friendly, accurate, and efficient
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and create short-term and long-term plans to meet those needs
- Collaborate and work with key City staff to meet business goals related to websites and social media

You Bring*
The successful applicant will have post-secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration, Office Administration or equivalent experience. A strong background in accounting, previous experience with a Recreation Management system, and knowledge of facility programs, services, business processes and City policies would be an asset. Other knowledge and skills you have include:

- Previous experience presenting to groups, delivering group training, or facilitation
- Strong leadership, mentoring and teaching skills

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, evenings and weekends as required.

D Band - $35.85/hour
