Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sandwich Maker to join our team. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

**Duties**:

- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications, following established recipes and portion sizes
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to accurately process customer orders and payments
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation area
- Follow proper food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food quality
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or questions
- Ensure that all food items are properly labeled, stored, and rotated to maintain freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order completion

**Skills**:

- Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well in a team setting and communicate effectively with coworkers
