S.A.M Learning Centre is Canada’s only math enrichment centre dedicated to teaching Singapore Math to children ages 4-14. Singapore Math is considered to be the most successful mathematics program in the world.

Teaching/Tutoring experience and/or teaching degree is a definite asset, but not a necessity.

Comprehensive certified training in teaching the prestigious curriculum of Singapore Math will be provided.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work alongside the director of the centre to learn about the program and how it is uniquely delivered.
- Work with the director to individually plan for each child’s session.
- Determine a target objective for each session.
- Carefully choose the appropriate anchor tasks for each session.
- Select the appropriate S.A.M workbooks to be assigned to each student as part of their home assignments.
- Correct submitted workbooks, analyze for weaknesses that require attention and/or topics that need to be re-addressed.
- Work as part of a team with other trainers; collaborate and share creative ideas with colleagues in order to enhance the child’s learning experience.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Dynamic individual with a natural flare for teaching children.
- A love and passion for working with children (Ages 4-14).
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ability to adapt to new teaching methods.
- Relevant degree in teaching an asset but not a necessity.
- Ability to think on your feet.

Permanent Part-time: MUST commit to at least 15 - 20 hours per week.

Willing to commit 2 work days in a week at the location of Mississauga.
