**Job Summary**:

As a Safety & Rescue Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring safety on job sites, maintaining rescue equipment, delivering training programs, and providing safety solutions in challenging environments. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for safety, problem-solving, and continuous skill development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean, maintain, and inspect rescue and safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Prepare and organize equipment for job site deployment.
- Attend job sites to provide on-site safety and rescue services in environments such as heights, confined spaces, and fast-moving water.
- Deliver safety and rescue training sessions as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to enhance knowledge and technical skills.
- Support the retail sales of fall protection and rescue equipment, providing expert advice to clients.
- Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain the highest standards of service.
- Accurately complete documentation and reporting related to training, inspections, and on-site activities.

**Requirements**:

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
- Comfortable working at heights (400 feet and above), in confined spaces, and in fast-moving water.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess risks effectively.
- Valid Class “G” Ontario driver’s license.
- Must possess a clean criminal record.

**Preferred Qualifications (Assets, but not mandatory)**:

- Firefighting
- Industrial Rescue
- First Aid/CPR
- Confined Space Rescue
- Rope Rescue
- Rope Access
- Fall Protection/Rescue Equipment Sales
- Whitewater Rescue or Guiding
- Relevant certifications or training in safety and rescue operations.

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 37.5 per week
