***WSP** has future needs for Junior Inspectors to join our Transportation department, located at either our Thornhill or Oakville Office. You will work as part of a dynamic, energetic project team to support the oversight of construction contracts, primarily working out of a dedicated project site office.

**A day in the life**:
„ Assist in the inspection of transportation construction projects, including equipment, materials & methods, to ensure that the requirements of the Contract Documents are fulfilled in a safe manner with requisite quality;
„ Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting progress, deficient workmanship, resources and milestones achieved;
„ Monitor, measure and calculate the quantity of work performed to support with contractor payment;
„ Support with quality assurance monitoring and material sampling.

***What you'll bring to WSP...**:
„ Graduated from a University Civil Engineering Program or a College Civil Engineering Technician or Technology Program;
„ Shall have graduated from a Civil Engineering Technology / Technologist College Program, and possess the C.Tech. or CET designation, or from a Civil Engineering University Program;
„ Being certified by OACETT and possessing the Road Construction Junior Inspector (rcji) designation, or being registered with PEO as an Engineer-in-Training, would be considered an asset;
„ Some experience related to construction or contract administration would be considered an asset;
„ Good written and verbal communication skills;
„ Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills;
„ Some familiarity with interpreting Contract Documents, specifications, standards and technical drawings;
„ A valid Ontario’s driver license with an acceptable driving record.
