**Job Overview**
**Duties**:
- Prepare and cook Indian menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized
- Monitor food stock and place orders when needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Follow proper food handling procedures and food safety guidelines
- Assist in creating new dishes and menu items
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 2 years (required)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
