**Finance Professional 3, Business Services**

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid

Annual salary: $ 107,000.00 - 135,300.00

**What you'll do**
- Provides strategic business advice and support on key initiatives to Fleet Management and Supply Chain teams.
- Provides financial and business services support to the Fleet Management and Supply Chain teams.
- Reviews the Fleet Management operating and capital expenditures & additions, as well as department O&M expenditures

to discuss with senior leaders and operational managers monthly.
- Reporting to the Business Services Manager, Supply Chain, this position requires analyzing and forecasting Fleet

Management/Supply Chain capital expenditures & operating/maintenance costs and providing day-to-day financial support
for Operational teams (including accruals, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, initiatives, programs, compliance & policy
queries, ad hoc requests, etc.).
- Reports on capital expenditures & additions, program, department and initiatives costs to management for internal reviews

as well as analyzing cost variances to support proper business decisions and recommending corrective actions.
- Works closely with Operational teams to prepare capital expenditures & additions, as well as program and department

budgets.
- Supports external regulatory filing requirements for Supply Chain.
- Assists with internal and external audit requirements relating to Supply Chain.
- Reviews and reports on capital expenditures, programs, initiatives and department key performance indicators & metrics.
- Provides updates and training to Operational teams on financial and internal control policy/process changes.
- Ensures that Operational teams in Fleet Management & Supply Chain are complying properly with BC Hydro policies,

operational procedures and related reporting requirements.
- Assists Business Services Manager, Supply Chain with other key initiatives or priorities as required.

**What you bring**
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA).
- A minimum of 9 years’ experience in a progressively more responsible financial management capacity with specific

experience in financial analysis and control.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the operations and business decision processes of a large, complex organization.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting practices and principles and effective internal control concepts and their effective
- Considerable technical knowledge of financial, investment and risk analysis models and techniques, including but not

limited to advanced Excel and/or Power BI skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent financial leadership, relations management, team building, conflict management, interpersonal and

communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate and manage the business planning process, develop the business plan and measure performance to

objectives.
- Ability to analyze investment opportunities assesses business and operational implications and develops strategic

business options in order to maximize results and accomplish business objectives.
- Ability to think and act with a strong business sense.

- This is a Full-Time Permanent P3 M&P Group 44 opportunity, based in our Edmonds office location in Burnaby, BC.
- This position supports all areas of Fleet Management as well as Supply Chain strategies & initiatives.
- Please note in this role there is regular travel within the Lower Mainland (including various Surrey and Vancouver BCH

locations).
- A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain your Driver's License in good standing.
