Carpenter

Duties:

- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists

**Skills**:

- Proficient in carpentry techniques such as restoration, drywall installation, electrical work, and construction estimating
- Ability to fabricate and install various components using power tools
- Strong knowledge of carpentry principles and techniques
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints for accurate installation
- Experience working on roofs is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
