Maintenance Technician

**This position is located in Biggar, SK**.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the general maintenance of all shop equipment including forklifts, cranes, mobile cranes, production machinery, welders, cutting and shearing equipment, etc.

Duties
- performing scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown & repairs as required & making recommendations as to the extent of the repairs required & suggestions for improvements.
- diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment issues in a timely & safe manner.
- installing & relocating equipment.
- Do orders as needed to maintain the operation of the plant.
- Bring equipment in for preventative maintenance.
- Know how to operate machinery.
- Knowledge of lifting and rigging.
- Use cutting torch and welders.
- Knowledge of all shop used equipment.
- Knowledge of hand tools and hydraulic presses.

Job Qualifications:

- Heavy Duty Mechanic Experience.
- Industrial Maintenance Experience.
- Welding Experience.

**Requirements**:

- must have valid Drivers License.
- must be willing to relocate or reliably commute to Biggar.
- must be a Canadian Resident or on a valid open work permit.

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42 per week
