Grant Writer

**Responsibilities**:

- Become familiar with the granting cycle and potential funding opportunities
- Write and submit grant proposals to secure funding for various projects and programs
- Develop budgets and financial reports for grant proposals
- Track and report on the progress of funded projects to grantors
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in grant writing
- Responsible meet deadlines in an organized way

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years proven experience in grant writing in a non-profit setting
- research skills to identify potential funding sources
- willingness to work on site
- ability and willingness to communicate with other team members efficiently
- Superior writing, grammatical, and narrative skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of local non-profits is an asset
- Existing familiarity with funding sources is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 10 per week
