**Please Note: These positions are all located in Thunder Bay and work out of the Thunder Bay office only. These seasonal positions typically work for 10 months and recur annually.**

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: You will:

- respond to telephone inquiries on the ministry's toll-free lines

**How do I qualify?**:
**Interpersonal and Communication Skills**:

- You have proven customer service skills to deal tactfully and courteously with the public, other staff, MPP's and financial aid representatives.
- You have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with the public, other staff members and financial aid representatives.
- You have previous experience verifying and reviewing information submitted, identifying discrepancies and following up to obtain correct information.

**Organizational Skills**:

- You have demonstrated ability to organize own work and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks.
- You have the ability to work independently and as an effective team member.

**Other Essential Skills**:

- You have the ability to assist in training new or temporary staff and sharing skills with other members of the Program Unit.
- You have the ability to acquire knowledge of all Student Financial Assistance Branch programs, policies and procedures for all programs relating to loans, grants, bursaries/awards, scholarships.

**Computer Skills**:

- You have the ability to use fully programmable word processing (e.g. MS Word) and various online computer software programs.
