**Position: Part-Time Heavy Equipment Instructor (On-Call)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver hands-on training on a variety of heavy equipment, including backhoes, excavators, motor graders, loaders, dozers, and tandem truck snowplows.
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions using interactive PowerPoint presentations.
- Provide practical, in-seat training to Municipal Public Works and airport maintenance staff.
- Maintain accurate training records and summaries for each student.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid DZ License in Ontario.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating the listed heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Word and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel and be away from home up to 12 nights per month.
- Previous instructional experience with heavy equipment operators is a plus.
- Experience with airport runway maintenance is desirable but not required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal reference check.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
