**CONSTRUCTION OPERATOR**

**General Responsibilities**:

- Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment
- Conduct daily equipment inspections reports on equipment before use and report any repair issues or equipment hazards immediately
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Assist with general labor duties when needed to complete fibre optic construction projects
- Transport materials to and from the jobsite, including loading and unloading
- Using proper tie-down procedures, secure materials to be transported to ensure the safety and security of the load
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and in compliance with company PPE standards
- Complete all required accurate paperwork daily, including daily site meeting, drivers logs, equipment daily inspection forms, attendance tracking.
- Load and move equipment between job sites
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Excellent communication skill both verbal and written
- Experience with heavy equipment for underground construction (Backhoes, excavators, cat dozer directional drills, hydrovac, semi/trailers, dump trailer) would be considered an asset, but willing to train suitable applicants
- Must have valid Class 1 or 3 license for operator roles
- Experience with utility locates and working around existing utilities

**Job Details**:

- Full time, Monday to Friday
- Benefits package
- $30 - $35/hr depending on experience
- Boot and coverall allowance

**About RFNOW Inc.**

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
- Class 3 Licence (required)
