Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Operate POS system to process customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and restock deli products as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Upsell additional deli items or promotional offers to customers

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper handling procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, such as slicers, grills, and ovens
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

**Salary**: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week
