Screen Printing

**Work Schedule**: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday to Friday (40 hours/week), with potential for overtime following the probationary period (90 days).

**Job Duties**:

- Cleaning (Screens/Squeegees/Flood bars/Ink Spatulas and Equipment)
- Checking and labeling screen tension using a newton meter.
- Coating screens with emulsion using an automatic screen coater.
- Imaging coated screens with a CTS (Computer to Screen) for screen stencils.
- Exposing screens using exposure units once they have been imaged with artwork.
- Developing screens with a pressure washer after exposure.
- Taping off screens for press operators.

**Secondary Roles**:

- Catching printed garments off conveyor dryer (checking quality/folding/counting/boxing)
- Receiving inventory, counting incoming stock to work orders.
- Assisting press operators with setup and tear down of automatic screen printing presses.
- Assisting press operators with printing garments by pulling printed garments off automatic screen printing presses.

**Qualifications**:

- High attention to detail is a must.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical and creative thinking abilities.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong spatial awareness and housekeeping skills.
- Punctuality is non-negotiable.

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

**Schedule**: Tuesday to Friday

**Supplemental Pay Types**:

- Overtime pay.
- RRSPs and Health Spending Account after 1 year.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
