Hope, Canada Ogilvie Mtn Holdings LP Full time

Ogilvie Mtn. Holdings is a pipeline construction and maintenance contractor based out of Hope, BC. We specialize in pipeline maintenance involving integrity digs, cut-outs, and construction related activities including valve installs, piping upgrades, hydrotesting and varies activities related to operation and upgrades to pipeline infrastructure. The Health & Safety Administrator is responsible for assisting the safety team and ensure that all documentation, orientations, and office requirements are performed and maintained in a professional and organized manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support within the HSE team
- Support the development of material for Toolbox Talks etc.
- Compile and report on safety statistics quarterly and annually
- Scanning, filing, and stats entry of HSE documentation
- Conduct respirator fit testing (OMH LP shall deem personnel competent during onboarding)
- Maintain applicable HSE registries for ISN, Salus Pro, and Sitedocs
- Assist in facilitating Return-to-Work Program/ Modified Office Duties as identified by Sr. Safety personnel
- Joint Health & Safety documentation preparation and meeting minutes
- Assist in the field as HSE Admin when/if required
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required
- Track safety tickets expiries and arrange for courses to update
- Data entry
- Assisting other departments when needed
- Report to OMH LP Sr. Safety & Management
- Assist the safety team in implementing and maintaining health & safety programs and processes
- Provide support and assistance to field support personnel and conduct site safety orientations
- Collect all personnel safety tickets and alcohol and drug test results as per site requirements
- Perform New Hire Orientations
- Ensure employees complete paperwork properly prior to leaving orientation
- Ensure no orientation is given without appropriate safety tickets and D&A results
- Ensure all safety commitment posters are posted and signed
- Ensure hard hat name labels and medical forms are completed prior to leaving orientation
- Enter all safety related training into training matrix
- File employee orientation confirmation documents with training tickets to appropriate employee and subcontractor files
- Collect all FLHA, tailgate, vehicle equipment logs, and other safety related documents daily and file into appropriate locations
- Assist in facilitating updates to site ERP as necessary reflecting any changes of phone numbers and contacts
- Ensure all binders are properly labelled and stored neatly and accessible

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Level 1 First Aid Ticket
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well within a team
- Multitasking and ability to prioritize tasks
- Maintain professional demeanor while being assertive
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Previous experience with ISN Salus Pro and SiteDocs would be considered an asset.
- CSO, NSCO, or OH&S certificate considered an asset
