**Accounting Technician**

Ledgers Halifax is a full service accounting service provider located in beautiful Bedford, Nova Scotia. We provide bookkeeping, payroll, HST filings, year end filings, and CRA defense. If you have a minimum diploma in accounting, certification in bookkeeping, or at least two years experience manageing the business end of a business we want you on our team.

**Essential Functions**:

- Posting daily transactions, review bank deposits and managing internal CRM
- Prepare and review HST returns on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
- Communicate with clients for information / document exchange
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare and review payroll for accurate source deductions
- Prepare and review accounts for year end filing
- Other accounting related duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**:
College Diploma in accounting considered an asset. Bookkeeping certification and / or two years worth of experience will be considered.

We are mainly a Quickbooks Online firm so experience on this software is considered an asset as well as having a high proficieny in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and DEXT.

**Salary**: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
