Formwork Carpenter

**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks.
- Execute flooring installation projects with attention to detail.
- Restore existing structures as needed, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and operating machinery.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Experience with drywall installation, flooring installation, concrete forming, and restoration projects is preferred.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
