Job Description - Senior Murex Front Office/Risk

Local to Montreal, QC

**8+ years of experience in financial markets.**

**5+ years of experience working with the Murex platform.**

Leverage knowledge on different domains such as Financial Markets, Murex proprietary financial systems, Information Technology, and Advanced Mathematics to liaise and communicate effectively with the Front Office, Risk, and IT teams.

Gather functional and technical requirements and document them using Business Analysis best practices.

Provide high-quality support in using the Murex platform for pricing and structuring of complex financial products within trading domain (FX derivatives [FXD], Interest Rates Derivatives [IRS], Credit Derivatives [CRD]).

Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.

Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).

Murex modules and functionalities:
Simulation, E-tradepad Pricing, and pre-trade rules.

Hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, and Trade Life Cycle.

P&L, Market Data, pricing, reporting, valuation, and sensitivities.

Good understanding of Market Risk (including VaR, stress-tests, back-testing)

Curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.

Credit risk/Market Risk, MLC is preferred.

xVA module is preferred.

Markitwire is preferred.

Technical skills in SQL, XML, Unix and Scripting (perl, awk, etc.)

**Salary**: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
