**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures.
- Plan and execute maintenance operations to ensure the facility runs smoothly.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Lead, build, and direct maintenance teams, ensuring effective team collaboration.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Control and monitor maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Redevelop and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain logs and report daily maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.
- Work cohesively with the production team to maximize productivity and save costs.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Expertise in planning and executing maintenance operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and direct teams.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of machinery, equipment, and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment specific to ore processing.
- Ability to track and report on maintenance activities and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration, facility management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Certification as a Maintenance Manager (CMM) is a plus.
- Must be bilingual in French and English.
