**What you’ll do**

- Identify, develop, and manage key partnerships internally and externally. Collaborate with key areas such as clinical programs, Digital Health Strategy Office, PHSA Corporate partners such as PDIHS, Privacy, Procurement, Legal, Regional Health Authorities and Health Organizations across BC. Negotiate and facilitate resolution of any impediments to progress and success with these partnerships.
- Execute complex infrastructure, software, or system development projects with technical leadership, including creating design documentation, organizing, and supervising the creation of technical solutions or improvements, creating user training materials, and concluding the analysis of client and business requirements.
- Execute and track project plan according to Clinical Assistive Technology initiatives, ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components, facilitate consensus with partners as needed and ensures readiness for project implementation. Monitor and report on the status of initiatives and major barriers encountered, make decisions and recommendations regarding scope and related changes required to facilitate a successful outcome. Implement effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout project lifecycle.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of implementation budgets within the context of operations demands and environmental and resource constraints and use best practice methods to thoroughly monitor and adhere to allocated budgets.
- Provide supervision, leadership, and guidance to team members by establishing priorities, supervising, and directing work, assessing performance, motivating and coaching staff.
- Act as an expert and facilitator for clinical technology capabilities in healthcare for other PHSA locations, as well as other health authorities in the province
- Act as an advocate for clinical technology to the Ministry of Health, regarding policy focused on service involving clinical technology
- Provide leadership, technical expertise, education and training to families, leaders, physicians, other healthcare staff, and external partners regarding new and updated clinical technology.

**What you bring**

Qualifications
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or a closely related field, plus seven (7) years of recent related experience in large, complex, multi-site organizations.
- Proficient with ITIL practices, Project Management methodologies, ADKAR, Cisco MDM solutions, Microsoft Intune Device Management, Windows admin and Mac OSX admin tools

Skills & Knowledge
- Working knowledge and understanding of sophisticated enterprise platforms, systems analysis, privacy, and security implications within.
- Familiar with server infrastructure, testing and improving existing databases using File Maker server tools with QA environments. Designs, implements, and tests backup systems, policies, and procedures for data and disaster recovery.
- Self-driven, able to operate with mínimal supervision, and able to prioritize and organize work.
- Demonstrate initiative and the capacity to navigate obstacles to achieve success.
- Adept at inspiring a sense of teamwork and providing either support or leadership on initiatives and ongoing projects.
- Ability to understand the capabilities and features of ubiquitous technologies to match technical solution requirements to business needs.
- Advanced computer abilities, including familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint and Visio.
- Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Capable to work independently and/or in collaboration with other team members and supervise and deal with conflict resolution.
- Demonstrates good leadership abilities while providing personnel with direction, supervision, and leadership (e.g., coaching, mentoring, skills and leadership development, and performance management).
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
