Due to a reorganisation of our global procurement function, PZ Cussons ANZ has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Supply Planner who is ready to make their mark and manage the end-to-end planning and logistics for our laundry category.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive team player to join the Planning team as a Supply Planner. This role will suit someone who likes a challenge and has a willingness to learn. Reporting to the Operations Planning Manager, you will have the opportunity to put your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to the test.

Typically, you will have two to four years of experience in a similar role, demonstrate a strong understanding of S&OP/IBP and have a high customer service ethic and business acumen.

The key responsibilities for the role include:

- Create a supply plan which optimizes inventory levels and resource utilization
- Identification and resolution of stock imbalances
- Maintain projected inventory targets and proactively recommend and implement inventory optimization opportunities.
- Participate and play an active part in the execution of RI/RO plans
- Drive process efficiencies
- Generate & maintain tools such as SAP, SAP APO & Excel inventory reports

Qualifications and experience
- Degree Level (Business / Logistics / Statistical) - preferable but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Planning processes and policies
- Understanding of Oliver Wight IBP methodology / S&OP
- Experience using SAP, SAP APO, Advanced Excel, other Supply Chain Tools
- Strong written and numeric skills and must be able to demonstrate analytical agility with a strong attention to detail.
