**Scope**:
The Justice Attendance Worker is under the direct supervision of the Justice Program Manager, and overall supervision of Executive Director. The purpose of this position is to manage a case load of clients who require support within the legal system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to clients who; identify as Indigenous, who are classified as youth, request support via Case Managers, referred to by self, probation and parole officers and/or case managers, and take responsibility to heal.
- Liaise with probation officers for at risk youth.
- Communicate appropriate programming to at risk youth in regards to healthy coping skills, healthy relationships, confidence building and goal setting.
- Facilitate culturally appropriate programming to groups or in on-on-one settings.
- Ensure the youth participate and complete Attendance Centre Program within a specific time frame.
- Collaborate with the Reintegration Worker to assist clients being released from detention centers.
- Provide statistical updates for team and funders, as required.
- Network with community, and other programs to keep current with Indigenous peoples needs, and tools to support them.
- Keep accurate case notes in EMHware, and ensure all notes are inputted in a timely manner.
- Other duties as Required.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have knowledge of Indigenous culture.
- Must have experience working with youth.
- Ability to develop programs directed to Indigenous youth, an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Able to serve as a role model/leader amongst peers.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

**Salary & Benefits**:

- Salary: $46,000 - $50,000 per year
