**Education, Training and Certifications**
- Experienced in concrete
- 3 years of related experience
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Overtime as required.
- Required to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, and strenuous movements.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Use of personal protection equipment is required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods
- Work Site Environment: Outdoors
- Types of materials used: Colours and sealers
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, Team player
- Work setting: Roads and bridges, Sidewalks and curbs
- Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

**Duties**:

- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Must participate and adhere to all safety rules and procedures

**Salary**: $30.25-$34.00 per hour
