- Are you an ECE / OCT / Have experience working with children ages 18 months - 7 years old in a camp/coaching/teaching capacity?

**We are currently on the hunt for a Happy Coach** to assist in coaching mini-players ages 18 months - 7 years old in basketball fundamentals.

**Specifically, The Happy Coach will**:

- Be responsible for the emotional and social needs of our mini-players by ensuring all mini-players feel included, welcomed and are as happy as can be
- Support our Early Learning Basketball Director and Jr. NBA/SKillz Coach in our classes for 18 months - 7 year olds by demonstrating drills, emotionally supporting players, encouraging positive social skills and providing one on one attention to players who need more support
- Follow Little Dribblers lesson plans and the Jr. NBA curriculum
- Greet Super Parents and mini-players when they arrive, getting them pumped up and excited for class
- Always on the lookout to provide support to players who are feeling anxious/shy
- Act as Head Cheerleader Encourage mini-players to demonstrate balltastic teamwork skills by cheering for their teammates while waiting their turn
- Maintain HIGH ENERGY throughout the entirety of class, get mini-players happy, excited and pumped up
- Communicate with our Super Families in a positive, professional and educational way
- Assist in progress tracking, curriculum development and strategizing steps for individual player development
- Participate in marketing and brand awareness campaigns and initiatives
- Communicate with our Super Families in a positive, professional and educational way
- Assist with facility maintenance and cleanliness
- Assist with special events (birthday parties, camps, Santa Meet and Greets, Kids Dance Parties etc.)
- Kindly note that these are long-term positions with the possibility to turn into permanent positions. Temporary supply positions are also available_

**Consistent availability for the following shifts (with very few days booked off a year) are a requirement**:

- Monday
- Thursday: 3:30pm - 7:30pm
- Occasional Fridays: 4:00pm - 8:00pm (to assist with birthday parties and special events i.e. player meet and greets, dance parties, movie nights etc.)*
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am - 7:00pm (with 1 -hour lunch and four 15 minute breaks)

**Things to note**:

- ECE/OCT or a student in an ECE/OCT program preferred*
- Training and Little Dribblers uniforms will be provided
- Detailed lesson plans will be provided for each class
- There will be a 1:3 coach player ratio (you will be teaching up to 10 mini-players alongside 2 other head coaches) per class
- First Aid Certificate must be obtained prior to hire
- Access to a vehicle is required
