The Maintenance Person will be responsible for executing project requests from the Maintenace Manager, ensuring that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely fashion. They will also be responsible for handling work orders, including cleaning/pool supplies, equipment and general building maintenance. The Maintenance Person will work with our Best Western Team during the busy hospitality seasons.

Responsibilities**:Skills**
- Solid working knowledge of service maintenance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Applies advanced skills to the position or specialization.
- May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position.

**Other Requirements**
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
- Mobility includes ability to pull, climb, crawl, bend, kneel and stretch.
- Must be available to work flexible hours;
- Valid driver’s license
- Complete general maintenance.
- Identify problems and fix them.
- Be customer service driven.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Penticton, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (required)
