**Job description**

The tubing/piping systems installer/fabricator will be fully conversant with the reading of blueprint drawings. They will be familiar with tubing and piping installations and workshop techniques such as filing, machining, cutting, bending, welding and assembling of components in stainless steel and aluminum in particular. Familiar with conventional instrumentation, valves, tubing and fittings. Experience in high cleanliness, high quality and stringent quality control system.

**Essential duties and responsibilities**
- Performing tubing and piping installations and workshop techniques such as filing, machining, cutting, bending, welding and assembling.
- Fabricate machine parts and components with emphasis on stainless steel and aluminum.
- Emphasis on tubing, bending, valves, auto welding.
- Make adjustments to machine parts, components and assemblies as required.
- Adhering to tight schedules and an emphasis on established quality control systems.
- Interact with engineers, maintenance staff and machine operators in a team-like and effective manner.
- Promotes and maintains a safe work environment in accordance with all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Accurately inspects and appropriately processes all work performed.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Minimum 2 year technical/trade school certificate or Associate’s Degree in related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ corresponding professional experience in a manufacturing components environment.
- Ability to read and understand machine drawings and equipment operation manuals.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- Ability to use 3D CAD Software (SolidWorks) to create solid models and technical drawings preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the Canada without needing sponsorship at time of hiring or in the future.
