Ymca Before and After Care Leader

STARTING RATE & HOURS:

- $13.25 per hour
- 30 hours per week; 7am to 9:00am, 3:00pm to 6:00pm; Mondays to Fridays + Flexible for staff training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Planning and implementation of program activities
- Monitoring and supervision of children
- Program administration

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 16 years of age
- Reliable transportation to the location
- Previous experience working with children
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willing to acquire
- Current (not more than 6 months old) Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

SKILLS:

- Basic needs and characteristics of school-age children
- Learning activities appropriate to school-age children
- Team building techniques and strategies
- Behaviour management techniques and strategies

This role is a term position starting with a training day in August, then going from September 5, 2023 to June 27, 2024.
